The ArtCenter opened its doors in 1984 on a
then-barren Lincoln Road. More than two decades later, the gallery
is still a cornerstone on the now-bustling pedestrian mall. Boasting
artist studios, classes and exhibits spanning the art genre
spectrum, the ArtCenter, according to their manifesto, “exposes the
public to the artistic process on a daily basis, helping promote the
idea that everyone can be connected to the creative energy of
art-making.”
