Rocket Projects opened their 1,500
square-foot space three years ago in an effort to showcase the
latest movements and trends in contemporary art. Featuring artists
from both Miami and around the country, Rocket Projects claims its
mission is to “nurture free expression by supporting and developing
the careers of artists working in all media who explore the avant
garde to advance their personal vision.” The gallery represents 15
artists and features a main gallery, project space and “flat file
lounge,” which displays flat works as well as video and sound
installations.
