Crobar is the South Beach outpost of eight-year-old Crobar Chicago, a shrine for serious dance-music fans and top DJ's. Although Crobar South Beach is a bit more driven by the
see-and-be-seen crowd of beautiful people, music is still vitally important to its extraordinary success. Top international DJ's such as John
Digweed, Danny Tenaglia, Little Louie Vega and Ministry of Sound pass through Crobar regularly, and the club also showcases the most popular and acclaimed local DJ's, such as Eddie X.
The 16,000-square-foot Crobar, housed in the historic Art Deco movie theater The Cameo, is divided into a 10,000-square-foot main room downstairs and a 6,000-square-foot, glass-enclosed VIP room upstairs that features its own sound system and DJ. A catwalk around the perimeter of the second level offers bottle service at curtained banquettes and excellent views of the action below. A giant DJ booth looms down in front of a vast
plexi-glass wall illuminated by silhouettes of whirling industrial fans.
For serious dancers or those who enjoy being among the throbbing masses as they
celebrated the most progressive music in a visually stunning environment, the downstairs main room is the ticket. For those who prefer to party among the beautiful people
the upstairs VIP room is an excursion into another world. Either way, Crobar is a stylish sanctuary for high-octane partying.

I
had a ridiculously amazing time at crobar. From the very second
I walked in the door, the music was pulsing. The energy was out
of control. No matter where you're from, or whatever your social
class may be, Crobar is for anyone looking to have an amazing
time.

Let me tell
you this is by far the best club I have ever been in.
Not only is it warm and relaxed upscale atmosphere.
But you really never want the night to end once you step
inside. From industrial chic decor, to
all the bells and whistles. Crobar
will have u wired till the am with the best experience Miami has
to offer! The music is fresh and new,
with soul and body. And the staff
treats you like a king or queen of the hour.
If only the best will do, this
is it!!!!

I've been to
Crobar on many occasions and it never
ceases to amaze me! As someone who is very familiar with Miami
nightlife, I can safely say that Crobar is my favorite club. The
music is spectacular and everyone who goes there is just looking
to have a crazy time. Besides, I always manage to sneak my way
out of paying the cover charge. My only complaint is that the
bouncers can be rude at times, but I suppose it's like that
anywhere. The price of drinks is moderate but getting someone
else to buy you a drink or getting alcohol from someone else's
table isn't really a problem. Overall, Crobar is a great club
with a spectacular atmosphere!

Went this past
Saturday Night and had a horrible experience.
There was almost a riot outside due to several hundred
people trying to get in, and the club had no control. The guy in
charge of letting people in- Nikola was outright rude and nasty
to several people when I was there- yelling etc... People had
reservations for tables only to be told too bad. People wanting
to just pay the cover also had to just stand there forever and
weren't told either way if they would be let in. I was surprised
that they didn't draw a more upscale clientele. As one who has
been to Skybar, Mynt etc, I thought the people who were there
overall didn't dress well and weren't the same etc... As a
comparison, Club Tabu in Vegas is also
much more upscale and they have way better staff. I hope Crobar
looks into their inept staff.

I was there on
a Sunday night for hip hop night. The decor is nothing special.
The gigantic speakers on the dance floor are almost too loud to
be safe. The bass is so heavy that the entire place shakes. The
music was so-so. I think the DJ could have been much better. The
staff outside were not too friendly, and the downstairs
bartenders were hit or miss. One charged me $12 for a drink, and
the other $10 for the same drink. I suggest going to Mansion
which is just down the street.

Went
to the "Back Door Bamby" party at Crobar and had a blowout time!
Lots of freaks at this party. Beautiful biker-chicks, raving
drag queens, trans-whatevers, you name it, they got it. Music
was very hot—not the typical recycled prom-night crap that's
played at other so-called "clubs." I've been to some great
parties, but there was a wild party attitude at this one. Ha!
—the door guy was wearing a tutu—how can you go wrong at a place
like that?
(P.S. What's a "Back Door Bamby" anyway?)

WMC 04 Big
Ticket Venue with Timo Mass. Had a good Time but the venue was
over priced. All of their venues were expensive. I think that
$40 should be a max for all venues @ Crobar
There was a huge line outside. The staff did not handle the
crowd in the best manner. I waited about 30 minutes before I
got in. The party was "live" but I was still in sticker shock
after paying $60....find out after you are inside. I Paid like
a tourist. It's all good.
