After making its way from a 1980's gentleman's club (The Gold Club) through
various other nightlife manifestations including Luke's, Ocean Club, Club
One, Cristal, and Paradox, 1045 5th Street on the corner of Lenox now falls
under the expert guidance of two top-tier nightlife visionaries, namely
owner Oliver Geddes and recently named marketing partner
Gerry Kelly.
Oliver Geddes hails from Toronto where his stable
of nightlife fillies include This is London
Social Club, Money Club, and (pure coincidence) The Fifth.
Geddes now comes to conquer the mighty Miami Beach
with his personal vision of what a clubs should be—namely an upscale venue
with premier service for the bottle-buying minions that roam
oh so freely on South Beach.
Gerry Kelly, the man who has probably had more face time in the Miami
nightlife columns than any other living soul due to his litany of nocturnal
accomplishments including Bash, Shadow Lounge, Bar
Room, and Level, brings to bear his considerable reputation as a nightlife
innovator and promises to add spice to the 8,000 square foot
club. And that wouldn't surprise us
one bit.

This is
definitely for the upper class and sophisticated. I had a blast.
The owner Gerry was great and down to earth. The complimentary
drinks he gave us helped as well. Music is off the chain...the

This was by
far the best club in Miami (that I visited) the DJ and his crew
were amazing, I'd recommend this club to the grown and swanky
ONLY!!! Reminds me of DC...it'll be the first club I visit when
I go back.

the standards for any venue of its type. You can easily get
service from one of the many beautiful and amazing staff members

The only thing
that was disappointing about The Fifth, was the waitress we had.
She was rude and vulgar. Although the manager did apologize on
her behalf, the damage had been done. It's the staff that
represents the club and it's because of that young lady that we
will not return to the club, much less recommend it to others.

years ago and they improve it ten times better.
The waitress may need help, it took a
while to get refills on the bottles and juices, but overall

time. The club just had a different
