In a hallowed South Beach location once occupied by the former '80s club, Beirut, Lenny Kravitz has created the latest see-and-be-seen haunt with his Florida Room in the ground floor of the Delano Hotel. Previously the David Barton Gym, the Florida Room is patterned after the 1950s-style piano lounges of Florida and Havana, and is filled most nights with the roving South Beach party elite who have recently anointed this space as the next haute location in Miami Beach. The lounge features live musical performances in the early evening and a DJ-driven scene later on when things begin to heat up. Be warned, it's not easiest
lounge in South Beach to get in, but then the coolest places never are, are
they.
