South Beach socialites all head to Glass at the Forge when the evening agenda calls for a night of upscale
lounging. Glass is steeped in Hollywood history, starting off
previously as a cigar lounge with private humidors for the likes of Oliver Stone and
Bono. The venue was transformed
when owner
Shareef Malnik
teamed up with Miami designer Allison Spear to create an
upscale lounge space that packs in a star-studded crowd.
After pleasing their
palates at the Forge, local stars head to
Glass for a sip of cognac. Glass is the place to mingle with the VIP
crowd.

Miami
and it's horrible grip on who looks like what. its small its
nice yes. they charged me 400 dollars for absolutely no reason.
I understand that drinks are expensive but if i'm not VIP or
with a lot of friends I wont spend 400 dollars. disgusting I
tell you. You'd expect a lot more from such a "HIGH CLASS" club
or whatever. I'm in the middle of a dispute and Glass will know
what I think of them. Go to a strip club, they are more fun than
this facade of beauty and glamour.

Glass is a
nice club to go to if you are gonna be VIP. I've been a couple
of times and when I'm not VIP its totally different, no place to
sit, ur still gonna pay hundreds on drinks anyways because their
so expensive. but the service was really good, they brought me
out a cake for free with my name for my birthday when I was VIP.
nice place to go with a big group of friends.

Definitely
worth the trip to glass, the drinks were higher than some of the
other clubs but the music was hot! and the DJ's mixes were
great. It is not possible to go there and not want to dance.
But if you want to spend less money go down to south beach where
some of the smaller bars had no cover, cheap drinks (that ARE
strong) and the music just as hot.

It was pretty
quiet when I went on a Saturday night, but the place is a nice
lounge. I'm not big on huge crowds, so it was just right. If you
are looking for a relaxing time with good music, definitely
check out GLASS.

Don't ever
give cash to bartenders late at night. They will rip you
off like what they did to me. Asked for a bottle of water for
$5; gave them a $20 and they only gave me back change for a
$10. I wasn't even buzzed and I called them on it asking for my
change and he and the managers wouldn't give it to me. What a
scam...They are pocketing money under the table big time. So
much for a $15 bottle of water.

While on
vacation in South Beach, I found a
flyer advertising Little Louie Vega at
club Glass. I wasn't going to miss that for anything, so the
wife and I made the trip to the club. 90 minutes and 60 bucks
later we were inside the club. (One
minor dislike, the staff at the door could have worked things a
little better - no need to keep the crowd waiting, they were a
bit disorganized at first.)
Music spun by resident DJ as well as
the main event Little Louie, was
awesome. The old school house beats were rocking! Great club,
great atmosphere, I would recommend it but please get on the
guest list if you can before going.
As a final comment, the sultry dark hair bartender that served
me a few vodka red bulls was very sweet as well.

We went on a
Friday night and it was hyped so much I expected more. There's
all sorts of things to see when the nights get going such as
fairy girls dancing in illuminated costumes but it was too small
in my opinion. The vibe wasn't so great and the club is tiny.
Its probably a much better lounge than club. It was not worth
the $1500 we spent on a few bottles, hit BED instead (still).
