Jeronimo's Bar
now adds a little high tech luster to First
Street and promises to bring "a breath of fresh
air" to the busy South Beach scene.
Jeronimo's is modern, minimalist
and industrial, sporting plenty of exposed cinderblocks
and sharply mitered edges. A dressier destination
than most, the bar offers a full menu of house signature
cocktails and music curated by three of Miami's
favorite DJs. Established by University of Miami
alum Jeronimo Hirschfeld, a second location in Brickell
Village is nearly ready to give the Downtown pubs
a run for their money.
Stop in Friday night 1/6 for
the official opening when drinks are free from 10pm
- 1am. Arrive early to score a seat at one of the
edgy hardwood tables or belly up to the oddly aquatic,
underlit brick bar. Expect to find curious locals
from the million dollar condos lining South Pointe
Park and the usual cast of impossibly good looking
scenesters sipping Johnny Black potions or potent
Cuervo riffs and rocking to old-school hip hop and
modulated funk.
