Ok. Mansion totally transitioned me from being a club
go(er) who goes to clubs because they are talked about--- to now
a club go(er) who clubs at venues to treat patrons like they are
guest. Who are these people who say "this is Miami this is what
you get?" Like I said, these days I do not go to any venue that
holds lines. Wake up people. A venue is supposed to wait on you,
not you on them. I have no issue with paying $20 to get in, I
get you need the money, but I think line holding (for no reason)
is disrespectful, I don't care if it's ATL, LA, MIA, NYC, or the
fucking Gobi Dessert.
OK. Like, you folks who dropped $700, $1200 and up dollars.
Wooooo, I know your pissed, I spent maybe $40 on admission and
drinks. The most I've personally spent on VIP is $400 at another
venue in ATL), so I don't spend huge amounts of club money.
Seriously, we pay for a sofa in VIP when most of us have them at
home, funny (I hate you guys paid for a table).
The name Mansion, why? It is not huge inside. I'm still looking
for the ultimate club with the huge 5000sq foot dance floor that
you see in the movies. This is not a venue with anything special
going on. The big & tall bald head bouncer, is a straight anal
canal. F*#k the lines. You came out to have a good time, find a
venue where you can do so without being treated like 2nd class
minion. Like a dummy, I waited in line all Saturday night and
didn't get in. In my desperate state of mind, tried again Sunday
(I think mostly b/c they were one of the few venues that were
open on Sunday so) got in and it was just ok. I know your
thinking, well it was Sunday, well it was full, and if this is
"South Beach" like these others are raving about, It should
have been the best. Don't waste a good night in south beach at
this BS, be there done that- venue!

I didn't wait
too long in line. But alot of guys were rude, when I was being
ushered in with my guy they wouldn't get out the way. You don't
have to be naked to get in but you have to look good and damn
sexy if your with a guy. The $20 door fee was waived for us...it
really helps to look sexy. The bars were crowded so get ready to
fight your way through and the club was super crowded but that's
what makes it fun so Enjoy..I love my hometown =)

Not worth it!
Went last night. You have to pay $30 if your a guy, $25 for
women. It seemed like the staff was trying to start more fights
than stop them. They were just standing there shoving people for
the hell of it. When a fight did break out the staff just stood
there and watched for about 10 minutes before attempting to stop
it. The drinks were god awful and overpriced. My friend had
asked for something sweet and strong, instead he got what tasted
like water mixed with alcohol. I've been to way better clubs
that didn't cost an arm and a leg. The only good thing i can say
about this place is the décor. The music could've been a lil
better. I recommend to skip this club.

4 of my girlfriends. This is obviously the trick because we were
immediately shown the front of the line by the bouncers, and we
showed up dressed to kill. We were, however, all disappointed
when we got in there. The party hadn't really started yet, the
house music was iffy and the crowd was...well...let's just say
it must have been a slow night and everyone was let in.

well when in
was livin there it was dope, and i was with a bunch of models
who got me in for free, and we were vip (which means we got a
table, and bottles) that was free 2, cuz the model crowd gets
whatever they want, im just glad my boys hooked up like that. So

The line was
horrendously long, and that is WITH the 'VIP' wristband.
Apparently, there were too many given out. In addition, there
were other priority guess that were pushed to the front of the
line. These individuals include those with a hotel pass (Not
sure what hotel, but the passes where black), and the friends of
the bouncers/staff. The latter were in ridiculous numbers; Too
many people being able to jump a line while others patiently
waited. So much for the 'VIP' wristbands...In any case, once
in, I must be fair, it wasn't bad! My Heineken was 8 bucks, not
much different from NY, or any other big city. Oddly, many
people brought sand to the beach. There were a lots of couples
there, or at least it seemed. This made it hard to see who was
alone and who was just left alone for a moment. The middle of
the room was taken up by the VIP section. So, get used to
dancing by stairs, small pathways, or by a small lounge with
couches in the way. To me it was a poor floor plan!! The music,
however, did keep me moving until 4am. By this time, many
people where leaving as well, unless, of course, you where in
the VIP section where only you could be. If you ask me this
club would be better as an exclusive club where everyone was a
VIP.
My biggest problem with the club was waiting online with a 'VIP'
wristband for over an hour. As I was leaving I asked a bouncer
if this was the norm, guess what he said.

was unbelievably sweet! Yes, you may have to wait in line for a
bit, but come with a wristband and you'll get in a lot quicker.
Once inside, this place is bumping with hot people ready to
party all night. I'm talking you hold nothing back and simply
have a blast! I love this place!!!!

Honestly, if
anyone really reads any of these reviews, and you are planning a
trip to South beach, then I will advice you to stay away from
any of the big night clubs.
I was at South beach last
weekend, and decided to check out Club Mansion, with some
friends. For such a big and popular club, their customer
relation really sucks. The bouncers were very rude, the VIP line
was extremely long, and their bottle requirements made
absolutely no sense. The same applies to Privé.

When we got there they said we were not on the list. We had to
argue with them. After we finally got in we got a little table
that could seat only half of us and we were not allowed on the

I went to
Mansion on Memorial Weekend with my girls. It was very nice and
we were cooling out with Jim Jones and Dipset for a while. The
music was good, the drinks were ok, but I was a little upset to
find that a bottle water was almost $6.00. That was outrageous
to me!! I would go back again though, because it's South Beach,
It's so much FUN, and your definitely going to have a ball!! Try
it out, you'll see...

loved the place. I had bought tickets in advance so I walked
right in, no problem. The bouncers did look like they were
giving people a hard time outside though. Tiesto was spinning

out there - My BF had to pay the door guy because the line was

best club that I have ever been to everyone was very nice and
this one guy paid 1,000 dollars for a table that we were sitting
at so we had to get up, but he let us stay he order tons of
drinks and he only stayed for ten minutes and before he left he

some BS about invitations. When clearly no one else in line had
them. When I asked about the invitation I was spoken to like an

This is quite
a little hot spot if you can make it past the doormen. You
better come strong with some good looking women or else be stuck
waiting in line pondering how much to tip the guy just to get
past him to then turn around and pay your entry. It won't be a

is full of tourists. There's always a long line up. Its very
hard for some people to get in. But I never had a problem
getting in. You really have to dress up. The crowd is
mix...You'll find younger and older rich crowd. Guyz there are
very persistent they will do or say anything to try and get you.
The staff were good. Bartenders are fast and make really good
drinks. So fellaz make sure your pockets are thick when you go
there. Ladies its very easy...

amazing the first night I went there, didn't have to wait in
line at all, got let right in. The music was the best I've heard
at a club in a long time, great DJ. The people you meet there
are almost all tourists so you meet all kinds of people. This

I think it is
the best club in Miami, and I would highly recommend it if the
staff wasn't comprised of such [...edited...]. I have never had
a problem getting in, and last night I didn't either. Then, when
I quickly walked outside just to hand my friend her car keys and
a TAMPON, they literally opened the entrance and PUSHED me out.
"She's done. Get her out." What reason did they have to kick me
out? And one of the bouncers even told me to hand my friend the
keys and come right back. Of course, when I confronted him he
became a little pussy in the face of the big bad door men and
pretended he had no idea what I was talking about. For the next
30 minutes they completely ignored me and let me stand right by
the entrance, letting everyone else in except me. Straight up
[...edited...] with no legit reason.

Ok, so I liked
the doormen. He let us cut in line right away because a guy down
the street gave us wrist bands. So we got to cut in line and got
in in a matter of 10 minutes. Another doorman showed us where
the bathrooms were and was very helpful on where everything was
located. The 20 dollars I paid to get in was not worth it. You
have to be god, or know a god to get into the middle. And all
you see is slutty girls begging the guys in the middle to let
them in. Its a distraction when a girl asks you to move out of
her way so she can ask a guy to let her in. I probably wouldn't
go back. The music was alright. They played a lot of old stuff.
I liked how they played the video with the song. It is less then
what I expected. I didn't even bother to get a drink. The bars
were over crowded. All the VIP rooms is a little too much. I
came with a group of about 4 of us, and if you don\'t know
anyone important there, then you pretty much just stay to
yourselves. Everyone there seemed real uptight!

it's hot!!!! I am from Chicago, our clubs are nice. But I have
never seen anything so fabulous as Mansion. Those that posted
negative reviews: Remember ladies first, and you are in Miami
beauty/fashion comes first. So those of you that had to wait in
line next time you know how it works.
The staff was very, very nice ... Especially, the door staff.
(Hey Sexies)! The music had me dancing from the time I walked
in the door. Thank God for gifted DJ's.
Also, being a very observant partier I would like to thank the
staff/bouncers for hauling away those that were sloppy drunk. So
not cute ladies/guys!! By all means Mansion is the place to go
to be amongst the beautiful and getting your party on. Thanks
for a great time. I will be back to party Mansion style before
this year is out.

At 40, I have
been in the South Beach club scene for a while. This location
(1235 Washington Ave) used to be my favorite back in the days of
Club Z, Decos, Paragon. Now Mansion is quite something. Very
elegant, the music is delightful, both the sound systems and the
lights are awesome. I managed to get in pretty easily, the staff
is a bit rude but to some extent understandably, I am planning
to go back as much as possible, it is a great place to dance and
enjoy the sounds of house music.

I had to wait
less than 30 seconds to get in VIP, even though the regular line
was endless. I was traveling alone from VA so I was very
impressed to get the same treatment at Mansion that I\'d expect
at home. Drinks were a little pricy, $15 for a Jager/red bull,
but it was well worth it. Everyone in there(men and women) were
absolutely beautiful. I did have to show MIA what I was all
about and left with the hands down sexiest man in the club. I
would definitely recommend.

My husband,
his brother and a friend went to mansion on Friday night. We
were at the front of the line and the bouncer never even let us
in. He kept looking over us all the way to the back of the line
and kept picking out other people from the line and letting them
in. When I asked another guy why he was doing this, I was told
they were friends but it was a blatant lie b/c they acted liked
they never even saw each other b4. Our friend asked the bouncer
when he was going to let us in and if we should even bother
waiting since we were already waiting at least 45 mins. He was
totally rude and said it's up to us if we wanted to wait. I went
there a year ago with my husband and cousin and we had no
problem getting in so I don't know what the problem was with
this guy, he was a total jerk. Club Space and the clubs at Hard
Rock are much better.

I went to
Mansion with 5 girls for a bachelorette party in July 2006. It
was a Saturday night. We got there and got to skip the line b/c
the bouncer knew we were there for a party. It was $20 to get in
but so worth it. The Hip Hop room was smaller and pretty
crowded. The House room was awesome and the DJ was great. I love
house music and this place was fab. You have to go VIP though-
so keep that in mind. There is no real place to dance if you
aren't VIP. The only other negative was that my friend\'s purse
was stolen off out table in VIP and the waitress (who was making
a small fortune off of us) didn't even try to help us find it or
tell us where to go and ask if it would be if someone was nice
enough to turn it in.

I visit South
Beach once a year for the past 5 years and I must say Mansion
has got it going on. I don't know what some of these people are
thinking with some of these negative reviews. You are in South
Beach people! Of course you are going to have to dress up to go
out and you might have to wait in line because they are letting
"beautiful people" in first. Give me a break, this is why I go
to South Beach and this club exemplifies everything I like about
it. The club décor is very nice, the music is slammin and the
vibe inside is one of a kind. This is a must stop if you like
dancing and you like to have a good time. Nuff said.

had a list at Mansion. We had gone to the Clevelander to get
some drinks and then headed out to Mansion and the list closed
@1230 and we were just 2 minutes late because the bouncer was
soooo busy talking to some girls and said we couldn't get in.
The [...edited...] didn't let us in! He was such an ASS! Just
because of him I never want to go back! The staff is HORRIBLE
they're just back and forth, go talk to him, go talk to the guy
with the white hat. Fuck that! Remember club Mansion the only
thing that's gonna keep your club open are locals and tourists.
If you have rude staff, who would want to spend money at your
club? I sure as hell don't! Everyone please go to Opium Garden!

Without a
doubt the hottest club in Miami. I don't have one complaint
about it. Didn't wait in line, got through as soon as I walked
to the door. The staff was very friendly. They have the hottest
staff I have seen in any club. Music and atmosphere was amazing,
got free drinks the whole night from a promoter so that worked
out good, otherwise you would probably have to drop around $500
to have a good time. As mentioned before the best time I had in
Miami was in Mansion.

I was at
Mansion this past weekend while visiting a friend. I had no
problem at all getting in, did not have to pay a cover, and did
not pay for one drink; HOWEVER, I still did not have a good
time. The club was full of touristy guys looking to hook-up and
trashy girls. It was not the place to go with a group a friends
to have fun and not be gawked at. South Beach is a wonderful
city and Mansion's crowd does not do it justice

I read all of the comments on mansion
and it never ceases to amaze me to see all of these ppl that
whine/complain about how enterance to the club depended upon if
you have a "certain look" or that the drinks were very expensive
or the staff was snobby. Let me be the first person to welcome
you to Miami, because if you didn't anticipate the things
mentioned above you clearly didn't know you were here! This club
is the same as any descent big city club- if you are hot you
will get in fine. I have never had to wait in line for over 10
min. max (the amt of time it takes to get close enough to the
front to be noticed) and aside from a cover charge, once you are
in the door if you are a hot girl you won't have to worry about
buying your own drinks- so the high drink prices become
obsolete.
Point is
if you are good looking, rich, or connected then count yourself
in for a great time partying at mansion. On the other hand, if
you are merely average looking or worse, have no money, no
connections, and you expect to be let in and paid the same
respect as the beautiful and wealthy patrons just because you
waited in line for 2 hours then I suggest you return to whatever
other city/town you come from and stick to your own local bars.
To sum it up, Attractive/Wealthy/Connected=Fun & Plain or
Ugly/Limited Funds/No Connections=No Fun. I advise all of you
that are still confused why it is you had an unsettling
experience after you showed your devotion by waiting in line for
2 hours and dropping $400 on bottles to buy your enterance into
VIP to utilize the formulas described above when planning your
future evening outings in Miami.

As a tourist
spending only two nights in SoBe obviously I landed at the
Mansion sooner or later. Being a single male I had to wait some
minutes to get in - and it also took me only some minutes to get
out again. Pretentious and unfriendly staff, pretentious overall
concept, full of tourists, a bad caricature of an in-spot. Went
to the Suite
afterwards and my night was saved. Regarding the prices: it is
totally overpriced, but that's just because it sucks... I am
used to pay more in my hometown.

As a local
person, I understand the way clubs work, they need to have
people outside making lines so it attracts more people. Every
night Mansion plays different type of music so pick your day,
the kind of music is excellent overall. As far as getting into
the club, dress to impress and it sure helps if there are more
women with you, and show up a little earlier than most people
would. The prices are a little high but to my opinion they are
worth every penny.....so, just go and you would have a excellent
time.

I was up in there with all my people July 4 weekend. Got in thru
the door wit no problems @ all (make sure u on your A-game). Fat
Joe, Pitbull, Rick Ross, Shawna, and a bunch of other A-listers

BEWARE OF THIS
PLACE!! This place is awesome...if ur
Brad Pitt, if not then your going to find it impossible to get
into, and once you do the women are stunning, but if ur not a
celeb, good luck trying to talk to
them.
Also I'm from central
London, am used to spending loads of
money on a night out, but even I was
surprised at the prices
I was getting charged in this place.
Only managed to get in by attaching myself to a half naked
glamour model in the queue, and if you're a tourist looking for
a good vibe and friendly people stay well away because these lot
are the most pretentious bunch of people I've ever seen (and I'm
used to going out in Central London!!)

Unlike most
people who have nothing good to say about Mansion, my issue is
not with the lines or even the staff.
As a South Beach local, I know mostly everybody and don't have a
problem getting into the clubs.
Nonetheless, I still would not say Mansion is "the best club in
South Beach." Honestly, Mansion is
nothing but a tourist attraction. And it's full of just that:
tourists.
If you want an authentic South Beach experience, avoid the
tourist traps like Mansion and Opium and head for places like
Mynt or Suite.
Mansion is full of wannabes. Sorry.

I've been to
Miami three times this year and all on major holidays. I've been
to Mansion and Privé and I absolutely love them both. I
never had to wait in line nor had any bad encounters with
staff. By the way, I had clothes on and did not look like a
hooker. [see next comment]
I definitely advise those who visit these clubs to dress to
impress.....fashionable but you! Put on some make-up, do your
hair, and look your best always! It shows and people do see
that.
Money is the route to happiness and you'll have a great time if
you have $$$. So, if you're breaking your bank by going to
these clubs then you're definitely doing something wrong here.
I was just there this past weekend and though a bit crowded, I
had a blast. I didn't wait to get in and I never ever
do....anywhere.

I love
Mansion. I only had to wait in line 10 minutes and the bouncer
dragged me and my friends in. It was great and very flattering.
The whole club is décorated beautifully and the people that go
there are the kind of people I love to hang out with. In my
opinion it is full of classy people. You will always have some

First of all I
don't even know where to start with this club. This was the
worse club ever soo bad that I wrote a personal complaint
letter to the owner. The bouncer up front was horrible. My
friend and I were in line for a good hour. Yes AN HOUR! I never
have any problem going in any other clubs in my life; Opium, Bed
name it...This particular bouncer was ignoring everybody even
VIP line.
Basically no one was getting in unless you looked like
a hooker or you know one of the bouncer. The other irrelevant
people dressed all in black had no power what so ever to let
anybody in they were just standing there looking dumb as if they
were doing something.
This club should be shut down or change
all of their employee especially [...edited...] the bouncer at
the door. He was doing absolutely nothing, we were at the rope
and he was looking all the way back for no reason. Some girls
were showing their cleavage to him and he gave them the bracelet
and let them in which was very unprofessional!!! I was
disgusted.
When we finally left the line we saw that both lines
ended up with only about 10 people b/c half the people were
tired of waiting for nothing and decided to go to another club.
This was ridiculous how do they expect to make business and keep
people coming if this is the treatment they get. When we took a
peek inside no one was there.
So basically this club is bullshit
and all they do is make people wait a long time outside so
crowds on Washington Drive can see what the hype is about and that's it. This
is how they work because that club is very lame and its staff
will have this club shutdown in no minutes I guarantee. People
come to south beach to have a great time and no one deserve to
be treated this way!!

I didn't like the music. And the house DJ was break mixing. It

I would not
recommend this club to anyone. First of all, the door staff is
extremely rude and arrogant. It all depends on your "look" if
you want to even get in.
Once you're in through the VIP section,
which requires a two-bottle minimum purchase, expect to wait an
eternity at your table to finally get the bottles you order,
which by the way, cost over $200/each. My experience at Mansion
was a negative one, and I will never go there again! It is full
of classless, trashy people, some of which look like they just
came from Biscayne Boulevard (where all the prostitutes hang
out)!
Mansion was way too expensive,
full of rude staff members, and trashy people. One of the door
staff members said they were hosting a private party with models
and designers, but I did not see even one model all night.

I would not
recommend this club for any decent person to go to. To get in
the club was a mission. We had to get a table with 2 bottle
minimum purchase, in which each bottle was over $200. This was
the only way to get in through the VIP section. If you want to
attempt to get in through the general admission section, expect
to wait for a very long time until one of the rude & arrogant
bouncers decide to let you in, or unless you're a skinny woman
with a boob job and hardly any clothes on.
The place is not what it's all
hiked up to be, and we were not impressed with the service at
all. It took forever to get the famous bottles at our table, and
then they made us share half of the table with other people who
later arrived at the club. I noticed that those people ended up
leaving the table because they too did not get their bottles in
a timely manner. It definitely was not worth the $700 spent that
evening.

Everything was
great as long as you had the money to spend. Do not plan on
spending less than a couple hundred when you visit this
establishment. Bottled domestic beer
is $10 and mix drinks will run you about $12. Great atmosphere
for anyone who makes enough money to enjoy themselves and
happens to be in their late twenties early thirties.
Other than that, it was one of
the best clubs I have been to in the country. I almost forgot,
one of my friends started a tab and was billed that night, as
well as two hundred more than he spent two days later at times
when the club was not even open and we were not present... So if
you go, pay in cash!

Me
and some friends went down to Miami for the first time, July 4th
weekend. We were told by many people at our hotel,
Loews, to try Mansion. I really didn't want to because
of all the bad reviews I had read on this website. We were on
our way to Automatic Slims, which is across the street, but it
was closed.
So we went across the street to Mansion. We were
hooked up by two guys we met in line. We only waited a few
minutes and were moved to the front of the line. The cover
charge was $20 and the drinks were very expensive. $8 for a
beer, but overall we had a GREAT time. The music was awesome
and so were the people.
Most of the staff were pretty cool. We
were dressed up, but I was surprised by how many people were
"dressed down". I would recommend this club to anyone who likes
booty music. We didn't leave until
5:30am!!

This club is a
total waste of money and time. Being that I just moved here
from Los Angeles, I was told that I need to stand up by some
wall because I had a California driver's license. The locals
pretty much all walked passed me and got in without even
paying. Then they made me pay $20 because I was from
out-of-town. That was definitely not a warm way to welcome
someone to South Beach.
After I got in, I ended up paying $8
for ONE beer. When I got to the main stage to check out the DJ,
this drunk guy kept knocking into me and pushing me. Being that
I'm a female, the security standing next to the stage still
wouldn't do anything to stop him.
Both DJs in both rooms were totally lacking. I could have
thought of that stuff in my sleep. Many people told me about
how I should go to Mansion. Just the name made me hesitant, but
I had to find out anyway.
If you appreciate good underground dance music and being around
cool people, DO NOT waste your time here. It's just another
glammed-up overrated fashion show where the patrons have no
class.

Mansion was
excellent. Got wristbands from some guy on Washington Ave.,
waited in line approximately 15 minutes but got in pretty
quickly since it was only me and my wife and she's hot.
Bartender was friendly, and beautiful, and gave us breaks on
drinks--probably because we were on our honeymoon. DJ played an
excellent mix of genres--nothing that would satisfy the dork
techno connoisseurs, but very danceable and not too corny. Much
dancing, much love, excellent vibe.

I would have
to say that we had a great time because we got hooked up! As ten
of us girls were crossing the street, a guy approached us asking
where we were going and when we told him Mansion, he got us in
right away and within minutes we were seated at one of the
tables. We didn't have to pay for a thing, which we were
thankful because the cover and drinks are so expensive. Soon
after the waitress delivered a bottle of grey goose with an
assortment of mixes and we were set
for the night.
A few hours later we were moved
into another VIP section right in front of the stage because
some hip hop group was going to perform. I have no clue who they
were but they were cute and did a good job. We also met some
other artists, but I can't remember who they were either, a new
band that we may see in the very near future. It was a great
first night experience because we were treated so well and
mainly because we didn't pay a cent!
I do agree with the other
reviews in that it is expensive if you
do have to pay but if you can get it the way we did, then that's
the way to go. If we had to pay, then I
don't think any club is worth that much $$$.
I would only recommend going to
clubs in South Beach if there are a
bunch of girls and you are HOT! cuz unfortunately, that's what
they look for. We were told that it
was really an old mansion, so I was a
bit let down to discover that it really wasn't. In the end, we
were all treated like gold and had a great time!

Luke and Paul
Wall were there.
Paul Wall
only stopped in for a minute, but
nobody gave a damn, Luke was a hell of
a DJ and kept the party live all night. We
spent most of the night in the VIP
area.
Look,
this place is for the young and young at heart it's also very
urban so if your uncomfortable with
that, then this may not be the place
for you. Although it was mostly hip-hop,
it was still very classy but without making you feel like your
not upitty enough to be there.

My boyfriend
and I were standing around deciding where to go when a promoter
gave us wrist bands to Mansion. We were given
wrist bands already by our hotel,
but we took 'em anyway and said what the hell, let's go
to Mansion. We were let right in, cover was
expensive ($20 ea) and beer was
$8 ea.
You do need serious money if you plan on drinking a
lot. Everyone just stood around all dazed like. I guess it's
about how you look, looking at others, and being looked at.
And, there was nothing worth looking at. They say this club
attracts beautiful people (all of Miami for that fact) and I saw
none. I felt like my boyfriend and I were one of the few that
provided eye candy.
