This is a
great place to go if you want to stay away from all the
touristic spots in Miami. I lived in Miami and I recently moved
to New York City. The Purdy lounge gives me a Soho (area in new
york city) feel to it. The crowd is cool and laid back and the
music never lets me down.

I went to
Purdy Lounge on a Thursday night. My wife and I got there at
approximately 10:00PM and immediately were greeted by the
staff. My wife had free martinis up to 12:00 am. We shot some
pool and had a great laid back time. I highly recommend this
place if you just want to relax before you get the night
started. If you are looking for a sophisticated crowd and want
to show off your expensive outfit this place may not be for
you. NO ONE GAVE A CRAP ABOUT ANYONE. Everyone was minding
their own business and having a good time. The dance track can
get kind of wild, specially the girls after all drinking all
their Martinis. Try the apple martini it took my spouse to
cloud 10.

We always go
to the Purdy when my friends and I are in town. I found it by
accident, and really enjoy the atmosphere compared to the
typical South Beach clubs. Great music
and stiff drinks. (no cover)
