Ted's Hideaway is a true "locals"
bar, and one of the few places
in South Beach where you can grab a drink in a chill atmosphere without
the
pretentiousness that can sometimes abound in Miami.
The graffiti on the wall in the girl's
room states "South Beach - A great place to be a successful failure!" and
after a night at Ted's, you know what that means! This dark and smoky
hangout has the word "dive" written all over it, but the locals aren't
complaining: The jeans and t-shirt crowd packs the place to get plastered on
the low-cost drinks, especially during the twice-daily happy hours, when
prices get slashed to encourage even more debauchery.
Ted's doesn't always
have bouncers on duty, so the hot ladies tending bar have to handle every
problem that arises, whether it be a drunken brawl or
cooking grub. Now that's what we call well-rounded girls! Club Details

Walked in
alone waiting to meet a "local", was greeted by 4 hot genuinely
friendly bartenders. The whole bar and patrons were cool- a no
B.S bar. Closed there and partied with some of them till 6am.
Careful they shoot Jameson by the gallon!

Luv this
place. Stumbled across it and spent quite a few nights partying
on. Recommend to all. Fell in luv with a blonde barmaid. I don't
remember her name but remember her beautiful red tat on her leg.
I hope to some day return to marry her. Cheers

Best bar on
South Beach. Not the typical "nightclub", more of a dive bar
with great character, great people and moderate prices. Juke box
with great music keeps the scene alive.

exactly what I look for in a bar. With cheap drinks and good
music, its a welcome escape from the ass raping that you get at
some of the other clubs in South Beach. Come in, sit down, and
tie on a drunk at Ted's Hideaway.

I absolutely
love this place. It's a great place to just unwind and have some
drinks no matter what time of day it is. The staff are sweet,
sexy and funny (even Bob). It is definitely my type of bar.
