Funkshion: Fashion Week Miami Beach
celebrates its 9th year and 18th season! As with every year, FUNKSHION:
Fashion Week Miami Beach, will fuse music and fashion and like no other
city in the world could do.
FUNKSHION: Fashion Week Miami Beach will take
residence at the Collins Park Fashion Tents located ON THE SAND. Between
21st and 22nd Streets in South Beach (between the Setai and the W
Hotel). FUNKSHION: Fashion Week Miami Beach is a four
day/evening long event that provides an intelligent, innovative platform
for progressive and established designers to showcase their collections
to media, celebrities, international buyers, and select style makers.

Wednesday March 14th
Private event. Not open to public.

Thursday March 15th
1pm University of MIAMI Art & Design Student
Showcase.
With special showcase presentation of student,
Valentina Delfino. Valentino had a gown (shown the last season of
FUNKSHION) that was worn on the red-carpet of the Academy Awards this
month by Actress, Missi Pyle.
8pm Emily Brown Swimwear
CRUEL SUMMER LINE
9pm Hevin by Pachi Lake
TV Host Pachi Lake and fashion designer launches new contemporary
women's fashion line "Hevin”. Her dresses are a unique design of feeling
good, beautiful and confident in your body. After working in Television
for more then 15 years and designing with Richie Rich, Pachi makes
fashion, glamour and couture a daily wear.
Friday, March 16th
8pm LA GlamRock by Lauren Ashley, styled on site by Celebrity Stylist
Victor Price.
LA GlamRock is a mix of the glamour of the red
carpet with a rock and roll appeal. LA GlamRock specializes in one of
kind designs that incorporate unique embellishments and exotic fabrics.
This show is presented by LittleJewelBox.net The goal of Little Jewel
Box is to raise money for the Crohn's Colitis Foundation, as well as
Juvenile Diabetes, Autism and Alzheimer's Disease through the talent of
the very special jewelry designers that work with the program.
9pm Haiti a La Mode!
This year's show will propel Haiti's fashion renaissance unto a world
stage, like never before. Guests and fashion lovers will be treated to a
front-row showcase of Haiti's fashion rebirth through the fresh new
lines and distinguished sense of style of top Haitian designers.
Featured Collections: Mag Art Creations, Bien Abye by Dayanne Danier ,
Elmire Desrouleaux For Perpetual, Live costume display by The Party Room
Squad. Special Guest: Jencarlos Canela, musician, composer and actor.
Saturday, March 17th
8pm Julia Veli
A local artist and designer who blends fashion and
art by creating designs made from recycled materials such as newspaper,
canvas, screen, vinyl and wire! The looks are inspired by art, music and
the top designers around the world.
9pm Casey Levan by Evrice Cornelius
The collection consists of exaggerated style lines
and controversial perspectives fused with an uncanny sense of mediocrity
through color. The line portrays a “mythical” vision of the modern day
woman
