The Palace
on Ocean Drive was
for many years a South Beach landmark providing an easy retreat for the
golden bodies coming in
off the beach at 12th Street. And even though The
Palace was
taken over by new management for a while and seemed to lose its direction,
it's now back better than ever. Owners Henry and Douglas provide a cool,
relaxed bar/restaurant atmosphere in a cozy Ocean Drive setting that not
only looks out across Lummus Park and the beach, but also provides a
glimpse of the way Ocean Drive was during the early days of the South Beach renaissance. |
