Delano Hotel Miami Beach

Named after President Franklin D (whose family maintained a residence therein for many years), the Delano has that certain star-quality reserved for only the select few. "Flowing white" is the best and only way to describe the hotel's interior theme, by French designer Philippe Starck. And this flowing white theme hits you even as you approach the hotel's entrance, with its huge white curtains and massive interior columns.

At the Delano you'll find the Blue Door restaurant, who's chef, Claude Troisgros is flown in weekly from Brazil; a sensual rooftop spa named Agua; a vanishing-edge pool where chairs sit in the water not around it; and cozy pool-side bungalows where the possibilities for a truly moving experience are endless. Yep, the Delano is, undeniably, domain of the uber-chic.
