 The
Albion Hotel is a Nautical Moderne masterpiece
from 1939 and it's one of the most photogenic hotels on South Beach—which explains why
there's usually a model shoot going on somewhere around the pool area. The pool's sundeck
is covered in sand and portholes below the pool provide a unique voyeuristic view of
things. Jennifer Rubell, niece of Studio 54's Steve Rubell has assembled a world class staff to complement this true Miami Beach beauty. At the center of just about everything, the Albion
still feels like a private getaway. Rates are
usually moderate at this boutique hotel
located midway between
the Miami Beach Convention Center, the beach, and
all the best restaurants and bars. Two
blocks from the beach, two blocks from the
mall, two blocks from the theater... this
