1939 Cardozo Hotel on Ocean Drive (named after Supreme Court
Justice Benjamin Cardozo) has garnered quite a reputation over the years,
first as the back-drop for Frank Sinatra's 1959 movie "A Hole in the
Head," and now as the personal possession of Latin diva Gloria Estefan. Not only has the Cardozo been completely re-done in a soothing
cream and terra-cotta motif, but a new cafe, Cafe Cardozo, has
established itself on the hotel's ocean-side veranda, providing a quiet
morning retreat for guests. |
