General:
Submitted articles may pertain to any subject that would be
of interest to our readers. We prefer to review finished manuscripts, therefore, works previously
published in print magazines are acceptable for submission. Previously unpublished writers
are encouraged to submit. Submit articles via email to: editor [@] southbeach-usa.com.
Style:
South Beach Magazine Internet has a targeted
readership in the 18-35 age group, therefore, works with a hip, cutting-edge style are
highly desirable. Articles containing details or experiences that only an insider
would know are also a plus. Remember, most subjects you choose to write about
have been written about before. Your challenge is to tell the story in an original way.
Length of works:
Works of any length will be considered. However, please
keep in mind that works shorter in length than their print magazine counterparts may be
preferred by internet readers. Feature articles generally run between
1,000-2,000 words in
length. Interview/profile type articles may be of any length desired, and tightly written
articles 600-1,000 words in length are preferred for many subjects.
