Bar-B-Que Beach | Miami Beach

Grilling is considered a lazy man’s sport. For those of you too attached to the couch to fire up the charcoal, head over to Bar-B-Que Beach at 1555 Washington Avenue. This flip-flop friendly restaurant has a full bar, a friendly staff and REAL pit-smoked BBQ beef, chicken and pork. In fact, we’ve developed a special place in our hearts for the “whacked pork and piggy sauce,” a plate of sweet smoked tender pork chunks served with your choice of southern-style side dishes including mac n’ cheese, collard greens, and our secret summer crush - banana smashed sweet potatoes with brown sugar.

Opened 7 days until quite late at night, owner Tim Wilcox invites you to come by after work (or the beach) from 4-7pm weeknights to enjoy Happy Hour 2 for 1 drink specials. We are partial to Thirsty Thursdays $5 Patron shots and the Finally Free Friday Happy Hour with a free BBQ buffet from 3pm- 9 pm. For those of you too grilled to chill, Sunburnt Sundays feature 2 for 1 frozen drinks and $3 Coronas all day.

Now that’s our idea of a Bar-B-Que on the Beach…
