Manhattan’s Serafina Coming to Miami Beach

seraf-138.jpgThe big names in New York dining are lining up for space in the booming 23rd and Collins Avenue neighborhood. First, STK, then Mr. Chow, and now New York’s Serafina are all coming to South Beach.

Owners Fabio Granato and Vittorio Assaf who oversee six of their Serafina locations in Manhattan will open their first out-of-town location at the W South Beach hotel in mid-2009. The Glenn Pushelberg-designed eatery will have both indoor and outdoor seating for approximately 260 guests in a prime ocean-front location.

Granato and Assaf opened their first Manhattan restaurant in 1995 and all serve Italian fare with the exception of Geisha on 61st Street which serves Japanese cuisine.
