After Hours with Daniel Comes to Miami

bouley.jpgFor Miami’s Comcast viewers, chef Daniel Boulud brings his “After Hours with Daniel” show to MOJO HD beginning Sunday, March 16 at 9:00pm.

On the show Boulud  teams with local chefs to prepare special meals that don’t necessarily appear on their restaurant’s menu. They experiment with new ingredients and techniques as well as resurrect old family recipes from their past.  Eight hours later, dinner is served to all the chefs plus invited food writers and local celebrities.

Featured South Florida restaurants and host chefs include…

Michael’s Genuine Food and Drink with Michael Schwartz
Ortanique with Cindy Hutson
The Lido at the Standard Hotel with Mark Zeitouni
Michy’s with Michelle Bernstein
Sardinia Restaurant with Pietro Vardeu

Some of the South Florida dishes featured during the five episodes include “Roasted Grouper,” “Curried Whole Yellow Tail Snapper with West Indian Pumpkin and Local Spiny Lobster,” “Bouillabaisse Antiboise Style,”  “Rabbit Braised with Leeks” and “Whole Roasted Pig with MOJO Sauce.”

Chef Daniel Boulud recently opened his newest restaurant “Bar Boulud” in New York City at the beginning of 2008.
