Social at Abokado | Summer in the City
The trendy new Japanese Fusion Restaurant at Mary Brickell Village is turning up the heat these summer nights with a SOCIAL; three hours of off-price drinking from 4-7pm. This would make us WAY happier than an ordinary happy hour and $3 drafts and $6 martinis & mojitos might cause a few…ahem…”sick days” the next morning.
Abokado is a lovely contemporary space dedicated to the melding of Japanese and Latin cuisine. While Miamians have gratefully blended Latin culture into fashion, food, drinks and more, this is our first foray into “Como se Dice Sushi!” Pan-Latin Japanese dishes encompass ceviche, tiraditos, estiraditos along with classic sashimi and sushi preparations. The restaurant features a well selected wine list, signature cocktails, an extensive sake selection and domestic and imported beers.
SOCIALS will include affordable cocktails and a specially priced bar menu including 14 different offerings from $5-$7 including five different rolls, edamame, Abokado nachos (spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber and sprouts on a crisp shiso leaf) and kushiage cheese (panko encrusted queso blanco served on skewers). We’re feeling friendlier already!
