On Our Radar | It’s BrunchTime in MidTown!

Brosia RestaurantDiners weary of the same old Sunday Brunch choices have discovered Brunch at Brosia MidTown. This popular hipster destination in the Design District has started serving an a la carte brunch with such decadent choices as marinated cherry-filled buttermilk pancakes, a quiche-like smoked salmon tarte filled with caramelized onions and diced artichokes, and an open-faced steak and eggs benedict fusion that’s topped with warm hollandaise and certain to become our new favorite!

While the oak tree shaded courtyard is always appealing, diners may soon need to seek the shelter of the air-conditioned dining room. Servers are friendly (and nearly bright eyed) on a Sunday morning. Elements of chef Arthur Artiles “small plate” tapas menu are incorporated in the brunch choices and can be added as side dishes for the table to share. A side of creamy polenta spiked with parmesan cheese or the garlicky patatas bravas make any entree just a wee bit more of an indulgence.

Most entrees are priced under $15 which leaves plenty of change in your pocket for a brand new custom sofa at one of the designer showrooms nearby. Add an $8 bloody mary and you’re sure to lose any inhibitions about redecorating your entire home…
