Under a Tuscan Sun | Summer in the City

tuscan-1.jpgJuly turns out to be a fabulous month to dine in Miami as more and more Hot Restaurants invite you to go for the gusto at greatly reduced rates. We nearly fell out of our lounger and into the pool when we heard that Tuscan Steak tossed caution to the warm Miami winds and promised FOUR courses and a glass of wine EVERY night of the week during their Summer Nights promotion.

Tuscan Steak is not to be taken lightly on this offer.

Diners can choose to sup and sip Sauvignon Blanc, Red Cliffe, New Zealand, 2006; Pinot Grigio, Caposaldo, Veneto, 2006; Neprica, Tormaresca, Puglia, 2006; Piedirosso, Lacryma Chrisi del Vesuvio, Campania, 2004; or Cabernet Sauvignon, Jekel, Central Coast 2005. The four courses in question include a starter of salad caprese or fried rock shrimp and calamari, a pasta selection of spaghetti carbonara, gnocchi or penne bolognese, entrees of grouper, roasted half chicken or a 10-ounce char-grilled flat iron steak. If you haven’t fainted from happiness, dessert is a chocolate and vanilla bread pudding with Balvenie single malt scotch caramel sauce.

Pinch yourself, you’re not dreaming…

Tuscan Steak is located at 431 Washington Avenue. Reservations 305-534-2233.
