The Annual Miami Salsa Congress starts this week and dedicated dancers are shining their shoes and unpacking their sequins right this minute! For five sexy days starting Wednesday July 30, over 80 dazzling showcases organized by the top Latin DJs, live bands and leading instructors will take place at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa (4833 Collins Avenue) and the Fontainebleau Resort (4441 Collins Avenue). If you are a regular at the local dance club or have dreamed of shaking your bon bon with the sexy señoritas, make plans to attend the daily pool parties, the Salsa bootcamps and the morning salsa cardio workshops to get yourself Ready to Rumba!
Wednesday night July 30, the Salsa Congress is throwing an opening party in Coral Gables at the Alcazaba Nightclub (1 Alhambra Circle starting at 9pm). Admission for this event is just $10. Thursday night July 31, there will be a Kick Off dance party on Lincoln Road at the Salsa Hotspot Yuca Lounge (501 Lincoln Road, second floor at 9pm). Guests over 18 years old are invited to attend for just $15.
