South Florida International Auto Show

nz2.jpgIf you haven’t had a chance to check out the hot new hard bodies featured at this year’s International Auto Show, there’s still time this weekend. The event runs daily through November 16th and you can kick, gawk at and even sit inside all the shiny new gas guzzlers nightly until 11pm.

We recently discovered the Aquada, a British import perfect for South Florida living because it travels over 100mph on the highway and also flies effortlessly across the water at the flick of a switch. Imagine feeling just like James Bond as you flee evil agents in your Transformer Vehicle! New Zealander Alan Gibbs and Englishman Neil Jenkins started Gibbs Technologies and built the first fast amphibian vehicle in 1995.

Years of engineering went into the HSA, High Speed Amphibian technology that includes a jet propulsion system, a computer-controlled wheel retraction system and next-generation hydrodynamics. Richard Branson, our favorite billionaire explorer, completed the 22 mile crossing of the English Channel in his Aquada in 100 minutes and six seconds…

We can’t wait to power one across Biscayne Bay!
