TGIF! ThanksGiving in Florida |Talula keeps it Simple

Husband and wife chef team Frank and Andrea Curto-Randazzo celebrate the holidays at their swank bistro in the shadow of the sexy Gansevoort South Hotel by bringing back the simple elegance of a traditional Thanksgiving feast.

Guests are welcome to reserve a spot at the tony dining room to dine a la carte or from a homespun Thanksgiving bill of fare for $75 for two guests and just $38 for each additional member of the party. Kids under 12 are $20 each and those under 5 are free.

In a town with too many high tariff dinners, this approach should definitely appeal to cost-conscious visitors who still want to experience some of the best culinary techniques in the business. We are particularly impressed with the Randazzo’s decision to make Thanksgiving at a top South Beach eatery a little more reasonable in light of the tough economic climate.

Thanksgiving dinner includes herb-roasted turkey with gravy and cranberry marmalade, a choice of five side dishes from yukon gold mashed potatoes, sweet Italian sausage stuffing, brown sugar bourbon sweet potatoes, green beans or brussels sprouts. Home made pumpkin pie or chocolate pecan pie finish the evening on a sweet note.

Talula is located at 210 23rd Street in Miami Beach. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and guests should request the location of their table in advance. Reservations and information at 305-672-0778
