Original Miami Beach Antique Show

antiqueThe Original Miami Beach Antique Show is being held January 22-26, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. (except 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on January 26).  The show is being held at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This year is the largest show yet, with antique dealers from more than 22 countries showcasing collections from the finest rare finds in antiques. This is the largest display of antique furniture, art, fine silver and jewelry to ever be held in one location within the United States.

Everything from swords and Chinese tapestries to a painting of the first America’s cup race held off the waters of Newport will be available to collectors. As you may know a portion of the show floor will be dedicated to the finest in antique jewelry with well know names such as Tiffany’s and Cartier represented.

Fine silver will also be well represented with pieces on display dating from the 17th Century. So many of the items you will see have incredible historical value, perhaps they were once owned by royalty or were smuggled from country to country as their owners risked their lives for their treasure’s safety. Each piece has a unique story.

As an added benefit to attending the show, Gary Piattoni and David McCarron will be onsite to provide free appraisals brought in by attendees.  Gary and David have both been regular guests on the Antique Roadshow.
