Spa V at the Hotel Victor

spa-v-150.jpgSummer’s here and the time is right for Dancing in the Streets. Let’s have a bit of a reality check, shall we? Have you seen your feet lately? Are they sandal-ready? And have your newly exposed sensitive areas been properly landscaped?

Before you dare to bare it all, have a quick drink in the privacy of your own home (or hit the mini bar in your hotel suite). Then, stand naked before a full length mirror and just look at yourself…

Feeling stressed? We thought so. Have another drink and then make an appointment to get your body ready for the sunshine. Our favorite destination for one-stop-shopping is the totally yummy Spa V at the Hotel Victor.

This oasis of calm and tranquility was designed by Parisian designer Jacques Garcia, so it’s all dramatic arches, tile-clad walls, curved ceilings and ornate pillars. The centerpiece of this 6000 square-foot space is the Turkish style Hammam, a co-ed steam room that’s designed to De-stress and Refresh.

The massage menu calls out to us with sexy sounding choices including:

Relax me! (Classic)
Stretch me! (Thai)
Knead me! (Deep-tissue)
Stone me! (Hot rocks)
Four Play (two therapists - four hands)
Mom me! (Prenatal)

…and our personal favorite:

Double Pleasure (Couples rubbed together)

If you have just 30 minutes before your next meeting, consider the Blackberry Addict treatment wherein a trained therapist rips that little bugger out of your paws just long enough to rub your hands, arms and wrists with soothing balms until you can’t stand another minute without checking your e-mail.

Get scrubbed, rubbed, manicured, pedicured and waxed as you desire or treat yourself to the All About Me full day of beauty which includes a two-course spa lunch and 5 hours of oooohs and ahhhhs.

You’ll be amazed What a Difference a Day (spa) Makes!
