Mondrian South Beach Hotel Pool Details
The new Mondrian South Beach coming to the shores of Biscayne Bay on West Avenue has just released an artist’s concept of its pool area. Designer Marcel Wanders, Elle Décor’s International Designer of the Year 2006 portrays a “Sleeping Beauty’s Castle” theme with whites and grays adorning the chaise lounges and surface coverings.
The Mondrian will feature terraces furnished with chaise lounges and cocktail tables, 32-inch flat panel monitors with integrated surround sound, and custom interiors by Marcel Wanders.
The hotel is currently working with the City of Miami Beach for approval of its marina, and also design details of the City’s Bay Walk project that will traverse the Mondrian.
The new hotel also promises a dynamic pool/nightlife bar area with gorgeous views of sunsets over Biscayne Bay and the downtown Miami skyline.
The Mondrian is reclaiming an area along Biscayne Bay that was once the scene of the Beach’s best hotels including the Fleetwood Hotel, the Floridian Hotel, and Carl Fisher’s Flamingo Hotel.
