Fontainebleau Hotel Gets Ready to Bare All

lim.jpgQuestion - Is there any person on earth who doesn’t thrill to the Victoria’s Secret Lingerie Models?

Men want to MEET them and women want to BE them - the sexy slim models who peer so invitingly from the pages of the monthly catalogs. Gorgeous gams, silken hair, slender bodies all revealed and concealed by the lacy undergarments that sell to millions of mortals who could never hope to achieve such absolute perfection…

Well, loyal readers - Guess Who’s Coming to Town?

All the pages of that Fantasy Fashion Catalog come to life at the Fontainebleau Hotel November 14-15 for the grand relaunch of the luxury resort property! The folks at CBS have confirmed that the hotel is spending $5 million dollars on events culminating in the broadcast of the holiday-themed lingerie show with sexy superstars Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller, Miranda Kerr, and Super Model Heidi Klum. The resort will underwrite more than $2 million dollars in production expenses including rooms and meals for the entire cast and crew plus another $2.5 million dollars in parties Friday and Saturday leading up to the televised runway show.

The hotel currently employs about 1,200 day workers who toil round the clock getting things ready for the massive relaunch. The Victoria’s Secret production crew rolls into town next week to build a six-story stage and a spectator gallery for 1000 guests. This year’s theme is “A Return to Glamour” with the iconic hotel providing a scenic backdrop for the fashion presentation which will air on CBS in early December. International publicity for the property continues as the lingerie show is scheduled for rebroadcast all around the world throughout the holidays.

Featured in this Sunday’s New York Times Style Section, the Fontainebleau is working out the last minute details of a billion dollar facelift that includes two new tower buildings, eleven new restaurants like Alfred Portale’s Gotham Steak, Alan Yau’s Hakkasan, Scott Conant’s Scarpetta, Sean O’Connell’s La Côte and a 40,000 square foot spa with FIVE beach-front pool areas surrounded by luxe private cabanas.

The Fontainebleau Resort is located at 4441 Collins Avenue, 305-538-2000
