Miami Beach Weekend Itinerary for February 7-10th

Thursday February 7
Breakfast
Balans / 1022 Lincoln Road / Start your shopping day on the sidewalks of Lincoln Road with delicious Eggs Benedict, steak and eggs or a fluffy omelette. All entrees are $2 off if you pop by between 8am-11:30am weekdays. (And turn that savings into a new pair of shoes!)
Lunch
O Asian Grill / 330 Lincoln Road / Pop onto a swivel stool and take in the busy street life as you sip and slurp delicious Asian noodle bowls topped with roast duck or seafood. This chic but casual eatery is the first New York style noodle shop on South Beach and promises to tempt even the most carb-o-phobic diner.
Afternoon Activity
Some Like It Hot - Brownes Beauty / 841 Lincoln Road / Start the weekend with a quick pick-me-up Mani-Pedi at Brownes. Do not hit the beach or the clubs without tending to the body beautiful! After primping at the second floor lounge, check out the latest designer cosmetics on your way out.

Lapidus Lounge - Ritz-Carlton South Beach / 1 Lincoln Road / “Tapas and Tinis” is an innovative concept at this ultra-sophisticated lounge space that’s opened ’til the wee hours. Sip pure sunshine with the Grey Goose Martini infused with fresh orange peel. If you can’t make up your mind, the bartender will help you take flight with three different 1.5 ounce custom ‘tinis served on a silver platter.
Dinner
Vix at the Hotel Victor / 1144 Ocean Drive / Chef James Wierzelewski’s globally influenced menu features pan-seared scallops so delicate they might distract you from the jellyfish dancing in the aquarium. Vix has one of the most expensive cigar menus in the world, with a 1937 La Corona cigar costing $1,000 which comes accompanied by a complimentary bottle of Prohibition-era whiskey.
Nightlife
Mynt / 1921 Collins Avenue / Romain Zago invites you to BATUCADA 2008, the 5th annual Brazilian Carnaval Night with Luciano from Mano Santa Live Sambistas from Brazil and the Myntini Dancers. Resident DJ Julian Ingrosso.
Cameo / 1445 Washington Avenue / “Porn 2 be a Star” party at Vice with DJ Andretta… Undress to impress the door denizens and you’ll have no problem getting in. Vice promises to unleash the devil inside.
Friday February 8
Breakfast
Front Porch Cafe / 1418 Ocean Drive / Enjoy fresh squeezed juice, whole grain pancakes and a view of the shoreline that can’t be beat. Dress casual - nothing more than flip flops and a swim cover-up is necessary at this fun patio spot.
Lunch
Joe Allen / 1787 Purdy Avenue / The view from the street gives nothing away. The vibe at Joe’s is strictly “insider” as locals gather in the afternoon to hang out and chat at the super-friendly bar. Feast on comfort foods like big juicy burgers, meat loaf or old-fashioned liver and onions.
Evening Activty
Go-Go’s at the Fillmore / 1700 Washington Avenue / The 80s can’t be that long ago judging by the still-cute girl band performing on Miami Beach tonight. Pull on your leg warmers and shoulder pads and relive the decade we all “Walked Like an Egyptian.” True fans can party with the girls at Mansion after the show.

Cocktails
DiLido Beach Club - Ritz-Carlton South Beach / 1 Lincoln Road / Enjoy the lovely beach front promenade while feasting on “Sun Cuisine,” a Mediterranean-inspired tapas menu that works perfectly with white peach sangria. With live music from 4-8pm, the Ritz Carlton really knows how to extend a Happy Hour.
Dinner
Nobu at the Shore Club / 1901 Collins Avenue / Nobu is open only for dinner, so we recommend starting your meal in the Nobu Lounge where innovations on the tropical infused martini set the stage for a wonderful evening.
Nightlife
SET / 320 Lincoln Road / Dress sexy, be nice to the doormen and you’re all SET. DJ David Vendetta spins tonight. Arrive by 11 or expect spend time cooling your heels on the sidewalk.
Saturday February 9
Breakfast
Bistro One - Ritz-Carlton South Beach / 1 Lincoln Road / Dine a la carte or gorge on a sumptuous buffet at the Ritz Carlton’s luxe dining space. Cozy up on the couch-type banquettes or dine al fresco every day of the week.
Lunch
Nexxt Cafe / 700 Lincoln Road / All the best people watching happens on Euclid Circle. Grab a table outside and share something from the huge platters served at this popular sidewalk cafe. This is the best place to relax during a day of power shopping on Lincoln Road.
Afternoon Activity
BASS Museum of Art / 2121 Park Avenue / Miami Beach history unfolds before your eyes at the Lawrence Murray Dixon Art Deco Exhibit (through May 11, 2008). See the interior design of the original South Beach Hotels at this collection of architectural renderings and sepia toned photographs.
Cocktails
Smith & Wollensky / 1 Washington Avenue / Locals favorite afternoon watering hole features the best view of the Government Cut. Toast the cruise ships as they pass by and be glad you’re on vacation in South Beach.
Dinner

Sunday February 10
Breakfast
Sunday Brunch @ Talula / 210 23rd Street / Feast on traditional and not-so-traditional brunch items from eggs to fresh carved roasts at this lovely and decidedly quiet Miami Beach dining room. Husband and wife chefs Andrea & Frank Randazzo bring their love of the culinary arts to the table with their subtle and nuanced preparations. DeVito South Beach / 150 Ocean Drive / Danny Devito opened his own Italian + Steak house right on Ocean Drive with a decor that gives a nod to 1950s Miami Beach and the Viva Las Vegas lounge era. Devito is simply over the top.
Nightlife
Shore Club / 1900 Collins Avenue / The chill Sunday Soiree moves to the Shore Club tonight. Dress apres swim and get ready to dive into a glam crowd of martini types.
