Mansion New York Launches

m-ny.jpgMansion New York will be firing-up in the ex-Crobar West 28th Street location next Friday, February 8th, with a party featuring the MisShapes. The new bi-level Chelsea venue from Miami’s Opium Group holds 2,100 people and will be mentored by Eric Milon and Mark Baker of Lotus fame.

The club’s design has a 1940s Hollywood theme to it with personal granite dance platforms beside each of the Pucci-fabric sofas and a 20-foot enclosed fireplace straight out of Billy Wilder’s Sunset Boulevard.

The club has three separate lounge areas — The Gallery, The Study and The Ballroomwhich also includes a small stage for nightly performances — and a section known as the “Cougar Room,” which is a girls-only area with hairdressers, makeup artists, girlie drinks by Gregory Selder, and …sex toys…

Apparently Eric Milon learned his lessons quite well here in South Beach.

This will fail miserably - that’s all I have to say. Mark my word.
