Crookers at Heathrow Tonight!
If you haven’t made up your mind about where to go this evening, grab some friends and head down to Heathrow Lounge to check out the only east coast performance by Crookers, the Italian producer/DJs who just lit up the Toronto club circuit. Appearing late tonight with Pauly Crush and Danny Daze, Milan bad boys Bot and Phra bring their global beats to South Beach for just one night, Saturday November 8th.
Combining hip-hop, tweaked synths and deep house grooves, Crookers have created a new sound that’s bouncy, pop and absolutely perfect for a lively November night on the town. The music press dubbed the Crookers sound “Fidget House” – arguably because the upbeat tweaks and blips mixed into their sets makes crowds feel bubbly. American radio recently embraced the Crookers remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘n’ Night,” a track that’s catapulted them into the big leagues here in the States and at long last in their own country as well.
Touring through December, Crookers heads back into the studio to finish their new album in early 2009. Don’t miss tonight’s show which also features Stravinsky and Jessica Who? in the Spy Bar.
