Sabrina Monte-Carlo Sashays Into South Beach
Luxury fashion and accessories emporium SABRINA MONTE-CARLO opened its first U.S. boutique in Miami Beach at 5th Street and Collins Avenue. Owner SABRINA MONTELEONE brings the finest in designer apparel and accessories to the elite shopping connoisseur with a decidedly European flair and feel.
A fashionista since birth, SABRINA spent her entire life working for her parents’ apparel boutiques. She spent 15 years as their buyer before opening her own boutique, SABRINA MONTE-CARLO, seven years ago. SABRINA MONTE-CARLO’S flagship boutique, located in Monaco, caters to celebrities including Paris Hilton, Princess Caroline and Cher and is the hot shopping destination in South of France – and will quickly make its mark on Miami.
“Miami provides the perfect backdrop to fabulous fashions from Burberry Prorsum, Pucci and Jenny Packham. I have been waiting with anticipation to open this shop!” said MONTELEONE, owner of the boutique. Guests of the celebratory evening were treated to the first viewing of SABRINA MONTE-CARLO’s spectacular fashions and accessories, while nibbling on bites compliments of Cuisine Works. Notable guests included Heatherette’s Richie Rich, darling of design Esteban Cortazar, Latin singer Christian Acosta, South Florida icon Beau Beasley and Miami Herald columnist Tara Solomon.
Miami’s newest resident and hotel empress Ms. Nicky Hilton made a special appearance to toast with Sabrina at the Sabrina Monte-Carlo after party held at Glass. The fashion-forward hotelier made plans to hit the boutique to lend her support to the fellow Miami business diva.
Recreating the feeling of shopping in the South of France, SABRINA will only carry European brands including Burberry Prorsum, Blumarine, Burberry London, Alberta Ferretti, Philosophy Di Alberta Ferretti, Emilio Pucci, Just Cavalli and Jenny Packham. Her accessories line includes Cartier, Rolex, All & More Bijoux and Plastic is Fantastic. The interior of SABRINA MONTE-CARLO SOUTH BEACH is done in white and turquoise, exuding a super inviting, modern feel –reminiscent of a European seascape, with the center of the store focused on a large sofa and table for clients to relax while taking in the elegant, lush surroundings.
Very aware of the ever-increasing celebrity market in South Florida, SABRINA saw South Beach as a natural fit for her first U.S. store opening. “I have felt connected to South Beach since the first time I visited the vibrant town–the fashion, the climate, the atmosphere, the people,” said SABRINA. “South Beach just keeps getting hipper, more chic.”
