Jerry's Deli

Historic Location Returns to its Roots

In September of 2005, the world renowned Jerry's Famous Deli opened its doors at 1450 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach in the former Warsaw Ballroom, a location originally built as Hoffman's Cafeteria in the 1930s.

Since Jerry's Famous Deli, Inc. opened its first restaurant in 1978, owner Isaac "Ike" Starkman originally from Israel, and owner of Epicure Gourmet Market, Miami Beach and Rascal House in Sunny Isles and Boca Raton, has successfully replicated this dining concept throughout Southern California. The company has several locations in Encino, West Hollywood, Marina del Rey, Old Pasadena, Studio City and now Miami Beach.

Starkman attributes Jerry's popularity and success to its unique style, which combines an extensive menu of more than 700 items, ranging for traditional deli-style fare to light California cuisine, with its 24-hour service and high-energy ambiance. Jerry's defines "deli" as being all things to all people; whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner, nosh or midnight snack; bagels and lox, pasta or fajitas; a family outing or a business meeting.

Jerry's Famous Deli 'round-the-clock service appeals to everyone—from families to the business crowd, students, models, tourist— basically any carbon-based being with an appetite. The prices are typical deli. Most sandwiches range from $6.15 for halfers to $12.75 for their FAMOUS triple-deckers. Entrees fall in the $8.95-$15.50 range. The 300 seat restaurant is open seven days a week, for eat in, take out, delivery, or catering.
