Altamar Restaurant

1223 Lincoln Road
Miami Beach, FL 33139
305.532.3061

Only the freshest fish make the cut at this delectable Lincoln Road café. Located between Alton Road and West Avenue, Altamar is a fusion between owner Claudio Giordano’s two passions: Italian cuisine and fishing.

The two aspects come together marvelously in the menu that showcases the best catches from local fishing boats intermingled with classic Italian dishes.

Having been heralded with the North American Restaurant Association’s Award of Excellence for two years in a row, Altamar is a treat whatever your seafood tastes; The dishes are kept simple and classic so that the tastes of the catches-of-the-day shine through.

Pasta-lovers can enjoy linguine tossed with clams ($15.50) and fish-heads can revel in the pan-roasted skin-on black sea bass ($24.) If seafood is not on the top of your list, there are a few carnivorous choices, but it would be a shame to pass up a taste of the freshest fish in town.
