Big Pink |
It’s a
comfort food extravaganza and a glutton’s smorgasbord every day at
Big Pink, the beach’s
most beloved all-American diner. An excellent choice if you’re trying to find a place
to bring the family, watch a Pay Per View event on a large screen
TV or not impress
a date (the service can be horrendous and the lighting is less than flattering.)
Nosh on
voluptuous burgers, main-course salads and a variety of blue plate specials, from meatloaf
and mashed potatoes to jumbo slices of banana cream pie.
Tourists, small groups of
production teams on-break, and Miami mainlanders though there’s rarely a wait for a
table. Most locals thank Pink for their abundance of umbrella covered outdoor seating in a
quiet neighborhood, affordability and ease of parking—not to mention their
swift-as-lightning delivery service.

Review: This
was my first visit with my family. We ordered calamari and there was
HAIR in it. It was replaced right away but by then the love at first
sight was over. The buffalo chicken sandwich was very salty and overly
spicy. The salmon terriyaki/asian wrap was more vegetables then salmon
and was not that tasty it also fell apart. |

Review: Service
is okay but they are trying for you to leave right after you finish main
course they ask you for dessert even you are not finish with main course
and then without any notice the check is in the table. |

to SoBe almost every year and Big Pink is always on the agenda for it's
comfort food.. Spicy Vietnamese Beef Wrap! I can't say food quality has
gone down but the service people are getting more rude and stupid every
year. |

was at first non-existant and then lousy. The food in the past has
always been good and portions huge. Last night my pulled pork sandwich
was nothing but a smear of barbecue sauce on a bun with a few shreds of
pork. Manager handled our complaints with indifference and attitude.
Including a bit of swearing. Never again. Next time I want comfort food
I'll have it at home. |

live a few blocks over on Michigan, and eat here often. Big Pink has
never disappointed us. Very crowded sometimes, but hey, it's a good sign
that so many people enjoy a place....Our server even brings pen and
paper for our 2-year old! Try the Spicy Vietnamese Beef Wrap:

besides a lot of skin walking around. The food looked great too. Gave
ambiance a 3 only because it was crowded a lot. But then again that can
be a good thing too..!
Time flew by and the experience was
memorable, enhanced by some good music playing in the background as well
as being able to keep up with the latest sports on their plasma screens.
Large portions. Couldn't believe some people were eating so much. But
then again it is S.B. and we know it's wide open down there
sometimes....Some must have definitely had the munchies...HA!...Enjoy! |

Review: After
a night of late night partying Big Pink hit the spot. The food was
decent as well as our service. Our orders came right out. Club Opium is
right across the street so I enjoyed eating my delicious hamburger and
watching the pretty people still trying to get into the club at 4am. |

the streets of Miami Beach there are many unique restaurants. The Big
Pink being one of them. The Big Pink is by far one of the most
reasonable on Miami Beach. The service and the food was great.
Even though it may not be the place to
impress a date, as mentioned in the description it is a fun place. Not
something of elegance.
Regardless of appearance, the Big Pink
is often included in my agenda when in the vicinity. |

Review: My
friends and I were out late one night partying when stumbled upon this
place - and LOVED it! This is comfort food at its best. Portions are big
enough to share and everything we tried was fantastic. Especially the
desserts. The service was so fast that we didn't really mind that our
waitress looked like she hated her job. The next night we had them
deliver to our hotel room and everything arrived hot and as good as the
night before. I've been craving that burger since we got home! |
