Bond St.
150 20th Street
at the Townhouse Hotel
Miami Beach, FL 33139
305.398.1806
The not-incredibly-comfortable tables in no way deter the chic crowd from making their
way to the Miami outpost of NYC's sleek sushi spot Bond St. With innovative
Japanese cuisine including a lavish lobster tempura roll and steamed sea
bass with aromatic oil, the trendiest-of-the-trendy flock to this bi-level restaurant lounge
located in the basement of the Townhouse Hotel. Perfect for celebrity
spotting and a later-night bite post-the nearby
nightspots such as Mynt and the SkyBar Miami Beach, it's a
place with beautifully
presented food and people alike. The wine list is good, but the extensive
premium sake list is even better. Lighter palates
opt for Ichinokura, and richer try the Fukunishiki.

Review: Trendy
but thought the sushi was average at best. For the price there are much
better sushi places on the Beach. |

Review: I
love this restaurant. It's the best sushi in town. My husband & I go
all the time. And it's not expensive at all. Sometimes the tables are
a bit uncomfortable to sit at, but it's a fun place |

Review: I
tried Bond Street after reading that it was the best sushi on the
beach. In fact, the sushi was only pretty good. Detracting from the
unexceptional sushi were the small portions and high prices. The sushi
menu and presentation are definitely more of the creative, fancy type
but I didn't walk away feeling either that I had just had a great sushi
meal or that I had gotten my money's worth in terms of quality or
quantity. I had the six piece sushi special, a hamachi and scallion
roll and an eel roll. |

Review: Bond
Street has the BEST sushi in Miami! My boyfriend and I stopped in Friday
night and gorged ourselves on rolls and sashimi. It was incredibly fresh
and so well prepared. The place was packed and the music was loud, but
honestly we barely even noticed over our martinis and food. I would
suggest going a little earlier than we did (10 pm) so you will have a
little more room to dine. Our waitress was so sweet and did her best to
be super attentive and though it took a little longer than we wanted
(with all the people) it barely phased us. |
