Clarke's is an out of the way gastro-pub in an area South of Fifth that's still something of a warehouse district. While the location might seem a turn off to scene-seeking diners, those in the know gather at Clarke's to sample reasonably priced drinks, well-selected wines and friendly local company. Pub Grub staples like hearty shepherd's pie might be a bit rich during summer months, but the choice of a perfectly grilled burger or a succulently crisp duck breast makes it possible to EAT or to DINE but to always finish with a smile.

Varied menu and excellent wine list. The seared tuna over vegetables and Roast Beef sandwich with aus jus are as noteworthy as their famous burgers.  Staff is very accommodating and the bartender remembers your favorite. The Pretzel's presentation on it's own stand makes it worth ordering one!
