MIAMI BEACH RESTAURANTS

Most arrive by default at this sidewalk café on touristy Lincoln Road. Believe it or not, this restaurant, which has now permeated more square feet of sidewalk space than any other eatery on the road, started as a tiny indoor café that was gorgeous. It still is, but good luck getting a table inside, particularly on hot nights. A really decent spot for people watching, plus there are so many tables, there’s rarely a wait. Try the proscuitto and melon appetizer. Avoid salads, and stick with tried-and-true pizzas and pastas. A surprisingly innovative wine list, some nice Italian beers, plus enthusiastic service round off the Da Leo experience.
