Garlic laden
local fresh fish is the mainstay of GrillFish, the neighborhood seafood eatery and bar. Seafood
pasta da friavolo for two is a must-try. Shrimp scampi is out of this world. The enormous
gay orgy-of-the-gods mural hasn’t offended anyone yet, and this easygoing joint is
actually popular with local boys and girls, breeders or otherwise.
The price is
always right, and the laid-back service is both efficient and proficient. An enormous bar
which spans the entire length of the restaurant always dons more than a couple of couples
who opted to share their dinner conversations with a gregarious bartender. The clamorous
noise level can be deafening, but it’s nice to find a beach enclave where it
doesn’t matter who you know, what your financial profile looks like, or if the
dock-siders you bought in ’82 really are "out."

Review: I live several blocks away from
Grillfish. It is the place that I take Out-of-town visitors & friends
and IT'S WHERE I GO ON MY BIRTHDAY! Fresh, perfectly cooked seafood

Review: My
wife and I just visited South Beach. I found this restaurant on this
website. What a pleasure. Marcio was our waiter, he could not have been
more helpful. His recommendations were on the money. The ginger calamari
was outstanding and the fish was grilled to perfection. Most fish I
order out these days is always overdone. Ask for Marcio he is from
Brazil. If it wasn't our last night we would have been back. |

June, we ate at the Grill Fish 6 of those days. We loved it!!! A++++

had GrillFish delivered to our hotel room
several times during our last visit and overall it
was great. Only once did they mess-up our order. The Steamed Clams in
Garlic & Wine became Spicy Clams in Garlic Tomato, but even that was
good. Tried the Wahoo and also the Swordfish, both were outstanding. |
