Industry veteran Jennie Yip blended Eastern tradition with Miami flair at Miss Yip Chinese Cafe. Modeled after a Shanghai teahouse, the restaurant design is simplistic but enriched with exotic details; most noticeable is the high, open ceiling, deep red booths, and intricate, oriental wallpaper. Regulars go for the homemade dim sum or the daily lunch special, a choice of entree, rice and vegetable spring roll, but more neo-traditional dishes include the steamed golden corn shrimp ball or sliced duck and mango salad. For cocktails, the drinks are subtly infused with such flavors as ginger or fresh raspberry: the after-work Lincoln Rd. scene guzzles the Madame Ming or a fresh take on a Miami favorite, a Lychee Mojito.

Insider Tip: Savvy locals know that there is a hip after-hours club called Buck 15 hidden just above Miss Yip. Duck around the corner on Lincoln Lane and follow the knowing hipsters up the concrete and graffiti-lined stairwell to check out this funky lounge space that's great very VERY late.

Review:  Ordered for delivery.   The food was absolutely nasty so bad that we had to throw it away.   We ordered Szchezuan Chicken was rubbery and chicken dumplings.  Stay away from this one

Review:  Probably the only real Chinese in South Beach.  The dim sum selection is excellent with really good variety.  Prices are fairly reasonable for Lincoln Road and they have a full bar.  Plus, you never have to wait to be seated!  The lounge upstairs (separate entrance) is also alot of fun.  Highly recommended if you're looking for really good food with no hassles.

Review:  My wife and I never expect much out of south beach restaurants but this one surprised us.  We have eaten there several times now and the food is always fantastic, the decor is wonderful, and the service is at least better than most other restaurants.

Review:  Finally, South Beach gets good Chinese food! Everything was piping hot and full of flavor. The restaurant was super busy (I guess word has gotten out) so the service was a bit slow, but still some of the best we've seen on the beach. The atmosphere is fun (especially after a few of those Lychee Martinis) and the staff was very friendly. Prices were beyond reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. If you like Chinese food you are going to love this place!
