Dim Sum Lunch 11.30-4pm, Dinner 5.30-midnight

Hong Kong style Chinese cuisine might not mean much to the casual diner, but those in the know have discovered that this dark lacquered dining room features the clattering steel service carts that make San Francisco and New York City dim sum restaurants famous. While most Miami Chinese restaurants can fry up a pork dumpling, Mr. Chu's will wheel up a steaming cart filled with elegant siu mai, tender har gau shrimp dumplings, and the seasonal stone crab filled delights you do not want to miss. Simply sit and smile, point and choose. The friendly servers pass by to show you what's cooking while you make your way through the little plates and steamer baskets. Be certain to leave room for the dessert cart which features just-baked Chinese treats not seen at most Americanized Asian restaurants.

Popular in the daytime and more sultry at night, Mr. Chu's is a great destination for adventurous groups, travel weary families, and folks seeking a light bite all day long. Chef O.A. Chu oversees a menu filled with fresh Chinese classics including a stunning Peking duck served as a small plate during the dim sum presentation or a more traditional tableside spectacle for dinner. The entire darkly-roasted duck is presented head-on and carved for you and your guests. Not for the faint of heart, this dish is but one highlight of the extensive menu which incorporates fresh seafood and exceptional vegetarian entrees. If you find yourself longing for an authentic taste of the Orient, definitely choose Mr Chu's.

Review:  I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.  If you are in Miami, there are plenty of other good places to eat.  The food was standard, the prices are quite high for what you actually get.  The service was not great.  Overall, I did not have a good experience and would not eat nor recommend this restaurant to anyone

Review:  We ate there on a Friday night, and the restaurant was empty!  The food was alright; it was quite expansive for what we paid for.  The portions were very small.  The staff was not friendly.  Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone!  I have had better Chinese food from a take out Chinese restaurant!
