Review:  This is the first place we go when we get to South Beach, its tradition. From the airport to the News Cafe then the beach. Cobb salad every time. Others I have been with have ordered many things, all good.

Review:  Thursday usually would be a great family atmosphere, I usually sit inside because of my 9 month old daughter, she has a thing for their fries, so I always order her their grilled chicken, fries, a side of mash potatoes and I'll order basically a little bit of everything from their vegetable soup, ribs, rice, bagels, coffee, pancakes, you name it, I'll order it, for the simple fact that everything is available 24 hours.

It's a great feeling, when the staff treats you like their very own, and that you feel safe enough to know that everything is cooked at the right temperature even for your little ones, they even make freshly squeeze apple juice and that's a good thing! This is a restaurant that even my 9 month old daughter Ja' Nae enjoys.

Review:  Great location, obviously.  Aside from that, it's nothing special.  Food is fair at best.  When ordering stick to the basics like eggs, toast, coffee, juice, etc. or you WILL certainly be disappointed.  Don't be surprised when your light breakfast (for 2) is a $30 after the mandatory gratuity is added to your bill... The service reflects the mandatory gratuity.  You're lucky to see your waiter twice, and it always takes forever to close out your tab.

Review:  My husband and I were on holiday from England and accidentally came across the News Cafe without realizing how famous it is. We had excellent service from a waiter called Josh and whose recommendations were spot on. We had breakfast there with coffee and it was all delicious. The location was sublime and the 2 business men sitting next to us entertained us with their loud discussion on the over valuation of sterling as Ferraris cruised by. American magic - we are longing to go back.

Review:  Staff was very friendly. Service was great and our server offered up his favorites. It's right along the beach so after the meal my date and I went over and walked along the beach. Great taste and price was well worth it

Review:  Sat us at a table where some nasty swill was dripping from the roof onto our table.  Ordered the ribs, and they tasted microwaved.  I sent the ribs back for chicken parmesan, and it tasted reheated as well.  I ate it, but not happily.  My son ordered a turkey bagel, and got corned beef.  Bruschetta?  None like I've ever seen.  Yuk.

Review:  The Service was fairly good. The restaurant was very nice with an outstanding view of the ocean! I really enjoyed my breakfast there. There was nothing really dislikeable about it! I would recommend it to people  who want to have a great breakfast. It was very family oriented and was worth the price.

I really enjoyed breakfast at this restaurant. I would recommend it more towards families though, there is nothing very exciting about it otherwise!

Review:  While vacationing on South Beach I went to News Cafe twice, while the first time I went the service was superb the second time was so great but overall the service was excellent the food was absolutely delicious and the prices were Great!!!

Review:  Loved it.  Best people watching on Ocean Drive.  The food is not wonderful but it's good.  Gazpacho soup is very good Must go and just hang-out, relax and watch the people and the cars!

Review:  Very expensive. I had a Cuban sandwich and the meat was like leather. My husband liked his dolphin sandwich. Service was good. I wouldn't recommend the place.

Review:  My family and I tried the legendary News Cafe out while we were visiting Miami Beach over the summer. The portions were generous and it was one of the best omelet's I had had in months. The service was so-so, but we really couldn't get mad because the restaurant was jammed packed. It's located right on Ocean Drive and so we had plenty to watch while we waited for coffee refills. It's a South Beach mainstay - you have to eat here when you are in town.
