Cuisine at Novecento Miami is a refined co-existence of Argentine, Mediterranean and Pan Latin heightened by French techniques and in depth attention to presentation ? perhaps best called Nuevo Bistro.

Chef Medici from Uruguay created a cuisine all his own at Novecento New York and has now brought it to Miami. His style reflects the Italian Mediterranean influences so prevalent in Rio de la Plata area (where Uruguay and Argentina meet), and Pan Latin influences including yucca, coconut and tropical fruit that are an integral part of the Miami food culture. The cuisine is not a fusion; rather each style is separate and is a pure reflection of its heritage.

It's tucked away in a more local heavy part of the beach and the ambiance and attention from the staff really reflects that. We had a traditional Latin meal that was absolutely delicious! I was particularly impressed by the wine list because I'm quite the wine snob and the selection was impeccable. Our server recommended a wonderful food-wine pairing and he was very helpful in making our food choices.
