Jonathan
Eismann hit the South Beach scene with his own brand of Asian ingenuity nearly seven years ago.
With impeccable service, consistently polished food, and a list of regulars that reads
like a whos who of Miami moguls, Pacific Time has become the darling of the Miami
food scene. The boisterous open space is one of the more socially cultivated dining spots
in town, but Pacific time is a restaurant first, high profile hangout second. Hands down
the foremost Pacific Rim dining experience citywide, there isnt a single item on the
intricate menu that we wouldnt recommend. A great way to sample Eismanns
enchanting style is with the Bento Box, an assortment of sashimi and bite-size Far
Eastern morsels. No reservation? The Pacific Time bar is a sumptuous spot to get a peek at
the action and eat dinner.

Review: After
a sting of unsatisfactory experiences with dining in South Beach, on our
last night we finally got it right with Pacific Time - everything you
expect when you are paying $200-$300 for a meal. Excellent service,
ambiance, food quality, presentation - nice to see that someone can get
it right - We also noticed that these places also don't automatically
add 15% gratuity to your bill, I guess because they don't have to.. |

Review: A
co-worker has been recommending this place to
me for years and finally on our last visit to Miami we decided to make a
reservation and try it. She was so right! I was first taken by the
location, then by the atmosphere and most importantly by the food. We
started out with the iced tuna tartar and tempura oysters. For our main
courses we had skate (much better than I expected!) and the scallops
with green curry. Everything was absolutely scrumptious. And even though
there was no room for it we ordered the baked Alaskan. Simply amazing!!!
The service was on point and the prices were a little steep, but worth
every single cent. I can't think of one tiny little thing bad about this
place. |

Review: This
restaurant combines a somewhat casual atmosphere with excellent food,
presentation, and service. I was taken here by a local travel agent who
wanted to show me the best of Lincoln Rd. I highly suggest it! |
