Quattro Gastronomia Italiana
1014 Lincoln Road
Miami Beach, FL 33139
(305)
531-4833

Quattro Gastronomia Italiana on Lincoln Road serves authentic Northern Italian cuisine, which closely adheres to traditional methods using only the finest ingredients imported from Italy. Identical twin chefs Nicola and Fabrizio Carro have just arrived from the province of Alessandria in the Piemonte region of Italy and are cooking for the first time in the United States. They will feature monthly tasting menus highlighting the food and wine from various regions of Italy.

Quattro accommodates 160 guests, with seating for 80 inside a luxurious modern dining room and another 80 guests in their outside patio that overlooks Miami’s Lincoln Road.

Distinctly Italian accents of cognac leather and a glittering custom-designed mirrored bar flank the towering wine refrigerators accessed by a sliding ladder were fashioned by Studio A Design.

A hand-selected all-Italian wine list comes from owner/vintner Nicola Schon of Colle Manora vineyard in the countryside of the Monferrato.

Quattro owners Karim Masri (Hotel Astor and Bambu) and Nicola Siervo (Joia) who together created Metro Kitchen + Bar (formerly Astor Place, 1995 – 2002), have joined with new partners Nicola Schon and Rony Seikaly for this latest gastronomic foray.

Review:  I've been there 3 times since they open. Consistent in the good quality of ingredients, but nothing out of this world in taste. What really kills the experience of such a pleasant ambience is the snobish staff, from hostess to waiters.

Review:  Fantastic place, all things excellent.  The best gnocci we've ever had.  Waiter was very Italian so there were a few moments of language difficulty, but it was wonderful.  The day was rainy and we ate under the umbrellas on the patio and had one of the finest Italian meals ever. Bravo!

Review:  The appetizers were good, but the pastas were terrible! No taste at all on the sauces.

Review:  The tuna tartare apettizer special had no flavor at all. The tuna was pureed over chopped tomatoes  and an insippid green olive oil based dressing. The porcini tagliatelle ($19.00) was just that, mushrooms and pasta with a little broth, no flavor, no spices, very disappointing. The rissoto with scallops ($22.00)was fair, two scallops and a few pretty rose petals. And the lasagna was delicate in flavor. Very over priced, I don't mind over-paying for flavorful or imaginative food, here you don't get either.

Review:  I am always looking for a new place to eat. Unfortunately, The two times I have been to Quattro I have left disappointed. The first time the restaurant was about half full but I was told to return in an hour because they were all booked. The second time, I called and was told they opened at 6:30PM. I was there at 6PM so I went next door to another place to kill time and have a drink.

At 6:15 I went over to Quattro since the doors were open and there was already a party of four sitting at their table. The hostess tells me "Go ahead and take a walk down Lincoln rd. and come back at 6:30 because were not open yet". Mind you, there are people sitting at a table with drinks and bread served. Go to Tuscan, Prime 112, or anywhere else. Who do they think they are??? Ill spent $300 somewhere else.

Review:  This dynamo team can only create quasi perfection. Masri, polished to a fit, has been a pioneer in South Beach. We expect great things from this very dedicated and young entrepreneur.

Review:  I have already eaten at Quattro 2 times since they recently opened.  I highly recommend it!  Wonderful Italian food.  The ravioli with truffle oil is the best!
