Tuscan Steakhouse
433 Washington Avenue
Miami Beach, FL 33139
(305) 534-2233

Ostentatious portions precede outrageous prices for tasty food at Tuscan Steak. Stick to steaks and all the accoutrements and you can’t fail. Steer clear of the pastas, or anything that sounds like it may be Tuscan, for that matter. Family-style dining is Tuscan’s trademark, so best order a few dishes and pass them around, rather than every man ordering for himself. Posh décor with state of the art lighting, deep wood finishes and luxurious high-backed booths are the perfect backdrop for this quintessentially South Beach steakhouse.

Mammoth Martinis and a bar that runs the length of the dining room suggest that the drink is as significant to the Tuscan Steak experience as the food. Decked out South Beach professionals dine amongst Fisher Island moguls. Impressively bedecked single guys know that Tuscan Steak is the premier venue for showing off dazzling trophy dates. Everyone else is either there toasting the closing of a business deal or because they grew tired of waiting for their table at China Grill across the street.

Review:  I had the whole snapper cooked crackly style.  It was a special that night and it was excellent.  They need to put it on the menu permanently.

Review:  This is one of my favorite restaurants. The service has always been excellent. When we go we get their house salad (fantastic), some steak and some sides. One of my favorite times we went my husband and I were celebrating a special event. We started out with a cocktail, had a bottle of wine with dinner and finished with a cocktail, ok $285, but I am still thinking about it a couple of years later. I wish I traveled to South Beach more for work. I miss this restaurant.

Review:  Was recommended by our hotel - food is good but although they talk about family portions - the prices are high.  Especially when you add vegetables and potatoes.  We shared the steak - total was close to $200 (with 1 bottle of wine - cheapest on the menu).  Good but very pricy.

Review:  I went there for my birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. The service was great and the atmosphere even better. The Spicetini Martini is to die for!  As well as their famous bread.

Review:  We went there for the Miami Spice promotion, which is a 3 course meal for $30.  Great restaurant... Great price... But we had a problem with one thing.  The waiter suggested we try garlic bread so we said sure.  When we got the check, we couldn't believe it.  The garlic bread was $13.50!  We just spent $30 for an entire 3 course meal, and then they charged us $13.50 for garlic bread that we figured was complimentary.  Why would we order bread that costs half the price of the entire meal?  That was the only negative; otherwise a nice experience.

Review:  Our visit to the Tuscan Steakhouse was a fabulous experience.  The food was superb, service was above & beyond.  Since Tuscan Steakhouse was part of Miami Spice, the price was right.  I would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Review:  Amazing food. The Amaretto Sweet Potatoes are highly recommended. Noisy dining room, but really great service. We were 3 buddies, and ordered 2 entrees with sides. Huge portions so don't be tempted to over order!

Review:  The ambiance is great.  The service the best.  And, the food was delicious.  I recommend the chicken and pasta dish.  This is the best chicken dish we've ever tasted.  Don't over-order the food, as the family style portions are huge.

Review:  It's nice to be encouraged, rather than glared at, for sharing dishes. The waiters are much more professional and naturally friendly than anywhere else on the Beach. And the steak is the best I can remember having anywhere. Try the amaretto sweet potatoes.
