South Beach Wine & Food Festival
|
If you love to cook, enjoy fine wine and can't get enough of the
FoodTV network's celebrity chefs, don't miss the 11th Annual
South Beach
Wine & Food Festival February 23-26, 2012 on the sunny shores of
Miami
Beach. For one perfectly delicious weekend, get up close and personal
with The Neelys, Paula Deen, Emeril Lagasse, Aaron Sanchez, and Rachael
Ray!
South Florida is one of the shining stars on the world culinary map thanks
in no small part to the tireless efforts of Festival founder and
director Lee Brian Schrager who leads a dynamic team of food's finest to
create an annual celebration of the culinary arts. Raising over $14
million to further the education of the next generation of food stars,
proceeds from the annual festival and cookbook sales benefit the Florida
International University Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism
Management and the Southern Wine and Spirits Beverage Management Center.
The party kicks off Thursday, February 23 with an all-star bash hosted by
Emeril Lagasse and Guy Fieri called "The Q!" All guests to this
delicious champagne-soaked welcome event are also invited to an exciting
new after-party called "The Q After Dark." On Friday, Rachael Ray hosts
her own Burger Bash while guests at the luxurious Fontainebleau Resort &
Spa join in Wine Spectator's "Best of the Best" dinner. Bad
boy chef Anthony Bourdain will host a "Tribute Dinner" to Chicago
chef Charlie
Trotter who's eponymous restaurant is considered among the best in the
world.
